Research Nexus
Research Nexus is a student-run organization dedicated to
elevating the standards of medical research in Pakistan. We aim to
provide comprehensive research awareness and education to medical students across the country. Our focus spans a wide array of research methodologies,including narrative reviews, case reports, randomized controlled trials (RCTs), systematic reviews, metaanalyses, and network meta-analyses. By empowering the next
generation of medical professionals with advanced research skills,
we aspire to set new benchmarks in the field of medical research,
particularly within Pakistan.
Founding Story
Research Nexus was founded two years ago by
MUHAMMAD MOHSIN KHAN and UMAIMAH NAEEM,
students of JINNAH SINDH MEDICAL UNIVERSITY.
What began as a simple initiative in 2023 to teach
few students from karachi soon revealed itself as a
powerful opportunity, spurred on by the positive
feedback we received. Inspired by the Research
Council of Pakistan, we envisioned a future where
Pakistan’s research community could stand as
a leader in Asia. Our ultimate goal is to
significantly boost the country’s healthcare
sector by driving excellence in medical
research.
